About Us
More Than Just A Theater Program

Westman Drama Ministries was created to use the power of theatre to encourage creativity, build confidence, and share meaningful stories grounded in Christian values. Through live performance, training, and collaboration, we provide a space where students can learn, develop confidence, and discover their creative abilities.
Our program began with 23 kids in a small church basement in Brandon MB and has now grown to include kids from all over Western Manitoba. We have had kids all the way from Killarney, Boissevain, Deloraine, Virden, and even Saskatchewan participate in our shows! We perform several shows per year at lots of different local venues including churches as well as at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium.
At the heart of our ministry is a commitment to growth—both artistic and personal. We believe theatre is a powerful tool for learning discipline, teamwork, communication, and expression. In everything we do, we aim to reflect Christian values such as kindness, respect, humility, and encouragement, creating a safe and uplifting environment for every participant.
Westman Drama Ministries welcomes beginners and experienced performers, offering opportunities for kids, teens, and adults to learn, participate, and lead. From auditions to opening night, we aim to create a supportive environment where everyone is valued, encouraged, and challenged to grow in both skill and character.
Along with being a theatre program, we are a community rooted in faith and creativity. We are committed to fostering kindness, building lasting relationships, and creating meaningful artistic experiences that reflect our beliefs and bring people together. Westman Drama Ministries is where skills are developed, faith is nurtured, and stories come to life.
